Long braids and locs
Styles for weeks, and locs for years
Long braids take a day. Loc visits come every few weeks. Both start with a talk about your hair.
Braids that hang long and loose, twists in your own hair or with hair added, and loc care by hand at the root. We take the style down gently when it's time, and we'll tell you honestly if your hair needs a rest between styles.

Questions about long braids and locs
How long can I keep long braids in?
Most people wear them four to eight weeks. Past that, new growth tangles at the root, so come back for a take-down before it does.
Can you start locs here?
We can talk through starting locs at a consultation. We care for locs you already have, and we'll say what we'd do and what we wouldn't.
Can I wash my hair in braids?
Yes. We'll show you how to wash the scalp and rinse without loosening the style, and how long to let it dry.
